You can request deletion of your DocDoomScroll account at any time. This page explains what is permanently deleted, what is anonymized rather than deleted outright, and how to submit your request.
⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your identifying information is deleted; some historical activity is retained in anonymized form, as described below.
Some historical activity is retained so that the shared experience of groups you were part of isn't erased for other members — but it is re-attributed to a generic "Deleted User" and can no longer be traced back to you personally:
Your Vault: reels you saved are handled the same way — they are not immediately deleted outright. But because your group memberships end as part of account deletion, they immediately stop appearing anywhere, to you or to anyone else.
Option 1 — In-app deletion (immediate)
Deletion happens immediately — you'll be signed out right away and won't be able to sign back in.
Option 2 — Email request
Send an email to our support team from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
Email Us to Delete AccountWe will confirm your request within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Deletion requested in-app takes effect immediately. For email requests, once we receive your verified deletion request, your account will be deleted within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
